I’ve spent my whole adult life in sales, marketing, and building founder-led businesses. The pattern was always the same: work harder, sell more, hold it all together by sheer force of will.
One night, I was in my home office in Orange County, staring at a 60‑inch monitor and a never-ending task list. Every important decision, every fire, every big client still ran through me. My family was on the other side of the door, and I remember thinking, “If I stop pushing, this whole thing stops.”
It wasn’t my first rodeo. As co-founder of Revolution Golf with Justin Tupper, I’d helped grow it into the world’s largest digital golf platform before a major exit to NBC Sports. I’d managed millions in ad spend and lived inside funnels and numbers. Later, I went deep on Alex Hormozi’s $100M Offers, Leads, and Money Models frameworks and pressure-tested them across multiple businesses. I knew how to drive revenue… but I still hadn’t built real leverage. Growth always came at the cost of my time.
